Products and Services

All products are handmade in small batches using high-quality, safe materials. Due to their artisanal nature, slight variations in color, shape, design, scent throw, stitching, or appearance may occur — these unique imperfections are part of the handmade charm! Product descriptions, images, and prices are provided for informational purposes only and may be updated without prior notice.

Custom Orders We welcome custom requests, especially for press-on nails (and inquiries for personalized candles or sewn goods). Custom press-on nails are made to your exact specifications. Once production begins, custom orders are non-refundable and non-cancellable.

Allergies and Safety Our products may contain adhesives (for press-on nails), fragrance oils (for candles), fabrics/dyes (for sewn goods), or other materials that could potentially cause allergic reactions or skin sensitivities in some individuals. It is your sole responsibility to review any listed ingredients or materials, perform a patch test where applicable, and confirm suitability for your personal use. Rika's Emporium is not liable for any adverse reactions, allergies, or other issues arising from the use of our products.

Ordering and Payment

Placing an Order: By submitting an order, you offer to purchase products subject to these Terms. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order for any reason, including availability or pricing errors.

Pricing and Taxes: All prices are in [USD] and exclude shipping and taxes, which are your responsibility. We may adjust prices at any time.

Payment: We accept payments via all major credit cards. Payment is processed at the time of order. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

Order Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation upon order placement. This does not guarantee availability; we will notify you if issues arise.

Products and Services

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping: We ship Nationwide via USPS. Shipping times are estimated and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs, weather, or other factors beyond our control.

Risk of Loss: Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Standard Products: Unopened, unused standard press-on nails may be returned within 3 days of receipt for a refund or exchange, minus shipping costs. Return shipping is your responsibility.

Custom Products: Due to their personalized nature, custom press-on nails are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Defects: If a product arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 3 days of when it was delivered with photos. We may offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Process: To initiate a return, email Rikasnailemporium@gmail.com. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the item.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including designs, logos, images, and text, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Custom designs remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed.

Limitation of Liability

I understand that the handmade products from Rika's Emporium (originally founded as Rika's Nail Emporium) include hand-painted press-on nails (involving adhesives, gel polish, acrylic elements, and embellishments), hand-poured soy candles (containing soy wax, fragrance oils, and wicks), and handmade sewn goods (using fabrics, threads, dyes, and other materials). These items may carry risks such as, but not limited to:

Allergic reactions, skin irritation, or sensitivities (from adhesives, gels, fragrance oils, dyes, or fabrics)
Temporary damage to natural nails if press-on nails are not applied or removed properly
Skin or respiratory irritation from candle use (e.g., if burned improperly or in poorly ventilated spaces)
Minor variations or imperfections inherent to handmade items

Individual reactions and experiences can vary widely. I agree to carefully review all provided product descriptions, care instructions, application/removal guides (for nails), burning guidelines (for candles), and washing recommendations (for sewn goods) to minimize any potential risks.

In consideration of purchasing and using products from Rika's Emporium, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Rika's Emporium, its owner (Erika/Rika), affiliates, agents, or representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or rights of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, allergic reaction, irritation, or other issue that may occur as a result of using our products. This includes, but is not limited to, claims for negligence, product liability, breach of warranty, or any other cause of action.

I agree that this waiver and release is binding on my heirs, assigns, executors, administrators, and legal representatives.

I further agree not to pursue any legal action, litigation, arbitration, or other dispute resolution process against Rika's Emporium or its affiliates for any matters related to an order, product quality, delivery, or use, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct as determined by a court of competent jurisdiction.

Indemnification
